AMBLESIDE ESTATE
A RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY IN
MURRUMBATEMAN, NEW SOUTH WALES

VOLUNTEER SCHEME
HOW IT WORKS
The community operates a volunteer scheme where residents receive recognition and reimbursement tokens for committee duties and activities performed to maintain the community grounds and infrastructure.

The Estate Volunteer Benefits Scheme rewards Lot Owners’ efforts when directed toward Committee-approved community-based activities. Activity participation and effort is recorded and depending on the level of effort (including amount of coordination, equipment brought to an activity, etc) will result in the recording of one, two or three tokens (with each token in the scheme currently valued at $10 each)!

The Estate holds biannual working bees and all residents are encouraged to participate. Activities generally include, whipper-snipping, general cleanup, removal of dead trees and other miscellaneous tasks. BBQs are held afterwards, and all residents are welcome even if you aren't able to participate in the working bee. Come along to the next one and meet your neighbours!

TEAMS
There are also volunteer teams that take care of specific duties on an ongoing basis. These include:

-
Water team
-
Chainsaw team

Any resident is welcome to join a volunteer team at any time.
HOW TO RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT
Residents are required to complete a declaration and submit to the managing agent to receive recognition and reimbursement of tokens.
